My bas-relief work and paintings use the juxtaposition of shape, texture, pattern and colour to create a visual experience.

I am inspired by form and shape, which can be abstract or figurative. My pieces are composed of soft wavelike contours - which resemble fabric, liquid, the human body and imagined sound - each set in motion through the kinetic dance between colours.

The finished piece is a multi-layered visual experience. Not only do I seek to evoke a sense of peaceful energy and connection but I want my work to represent the human moment that is the threshold between lived experience and ‘seeing beyond this world’.
